A Ray of Hope in the Camps
For many parents, this was the first time in weeks that they could cook a wholesome meal for their children. Mothers shared stories of how their children had been going to sleep hungry night after night. With tears in her eyes, one mother said:
“My children had forgotten what it feels like to eat until their stomachs were full. Today, we had lentils together as a family. May Allah bless the donors who remembered us”
